Lights & Water
Light: Full to partial sunlight
Watering: Three times a week
Where to grow: Shaded outdoor / bright indoor
Maintenace: Low maintenace
Air purification as a special quality.
Plant Essentials
Fertilize with a well-balanced slow-release fertilizer every two months for better growth. Repot your Cordyline every year in a slightly larger planter. You can propagate it by stem cutting.
Common Problems
Why are the leaves turning brown?
Over-watering, chemical burn from too much fertiliser can rot the root. Incorrect watering, such as not watering on a daily basis can also cause yellowing and dropping.
Style and Decor
Cordyline needs partial shade in outdoor areas and clear indirect light indoors. Place the fern near the north or east-facing window or further away from a south-facing window. Looks fantastic in bigger pots or planters or on planer stands. Plant them in a cluster of other plants to draw attention to a specific area.
